Stotles review: the UK go-to-government sales platform
Stotles combines UK and Ireland tender data with buyer intelligence, contacts, CRM sync and AI bid qualification. This review sets out what it does well, what the pricing and terms say, and what a defence supplier should check.
The short version
[ VERDICT ]Stotles is a strong choice for UK public-sector sales teams: it goes beyond tender alerts into pre-tender signals, expiring contracts, spend and contacts, and pushes it all into Salesforce or HubSpot.
- 01The data is deepest where Stotles is focused: UK and Irish portals, invoiced spend, buyer documents and decision-maker contacts. Its platform page claims 110k+ expiring contracts and 3m+ buyer contacts.
- 02It is the most sales-oriented tool we reviewed, with native Salesforce and HubSpot integrations, Slack alerts and, since August 2026, an MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft 365 Copilot on paid plans.
- 03Entry is easy, with a free tier and a paid tier from £75 a month, but the richer intelligence sits in Growth (from £475 a month) and Expert (custom). Contracts renew automatically unless you give 45 days’ notice.
- 04For a European defence supplier the gap is geography: no NATO agency sources or continental national portals are listed, and defence appears as a UK MOD landing page rather than a dedicated product.
What Stotles is
[ COMPANY ]Stotles calls itself “the revenue engine for go-to-government teams”. The company, Stotle Ltd, was founded in 2020, is based in London, and announced a $13M Series A led by Headline and Acton in May 2025. That announcement names customers including Amazon Business, Salesforce, Vodafone, Palo Alto Networks and Snowflake.
The product is built for revenue teams: account executives, business development representatives, bid managers and writers, and RevOps. It is sold in two parts. Sales Studio covers finding opportunities and understanding buyers. Bid Studio covers qualifying tenders and preparing responses, with a content library and AI bid/no-bid reports.
Stotles draws on Contracts Finder, Find a Tender, Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales, eTenders, eTenders NI, the Digital Marketplace and TED, according to its help centre, and adds invoiced spend, news, buyer documents and contacts.
One inconsistency is worth noting: the platform page lists automated bid drafting as “Coming soon”, while the homepage describes AI first drafts built from past wins. Ask which is live on the plan you are quoted.

What users say
[ REVIEW PLATFORMS ]Stotles has 12 reviews on Capterra with an average of 4.8 out of 5. Reviewers consistently praise the customer support and the usefulness of the daily email updates.
The criticisms are specific. One bid manager wanted better reporting and data extracts to see aggregated data at a glance, and one account director needed international coverage of the old OJEU scope, which was not available at the time.
All of those reviews date from 2021 and 2022, before the Series A and the Bid Studio and MCP releases, so they describe an earlier product. Trustpilot has no Stotles page, and G2 blocked our automated check.
If you are a defence supplier
[ DEFENCE FIT ]Stotles does market to defence: its UK defence tenders page claims 22,000+ Ministry of Defence PINs, tenders and awards and £33bn+ in MOD contracts. For a supplier selling mainly to the UK MOD, that UK depth, the spend data and the contacts are valuable.
The page says nothing about NATO agencies or other European defence ministries, and the data-sources article lists no continental national portals. Nothing indicates classification of notices by defence relevance or by stated clearance requirements.
If your pipeline runs through NSPA, TED and national portals across Europe, compare the coverage side by side in Defense Explorer vs Stotles, or see the wider field in Stotles alternatives. If UK spend and framework data matter most, also read Stotles vs Tussell.
Questions to ask in the demo
[ DUE DILIGENCE ]Each question follows from something the public pages leave open.
- 01Are the prices on the pricing page per seat or per account, and billed monthly or annually?
- 02What is the current Bid Studio Growth price for our team size?
- 03The contract auto-renews unless we give 45 days’ notice. Can we have a fixed-term or monthly option instead?
- 04How do we bulk-export saved opportunities, pipeline and bid reports if we leave, and in what format?
- 05Do you cover any NATO agency or continental European defence procurement portal, or only TED for Europe?
- 06Is automated bid drafting live on the plan we are quoted, or still “coming soon”?
- 07Is there a REST API, or is CRM sync and MCP the only way to move data into our systems?
- 08Which security certifications do you hold, and can we see the trust centre documents before signing?
- 09Which AWS region hosts our data?
Questions
[ 06 ANSWERS ]01How much does Stotles cost?
Stotles has a free tier. On 15 September 2026 Sales Studio Basic was listed from £75 a month and Growth from £475 a month, with Expert custom-priced. Bid Studio has a free tier with three lifetime AI reports plus paid Growth and Expert tiers. Contracts renew automatically unless you give 45 days’ notice.
02Does Stotles cover NATO tenders?
Its data sources list UK and Irish portals plus TED. We found no NATO agency sources, such as NSPA, and no continental national portals.
03Does Stotles have an API?
We found no public REST API. Stotles integrates with Salesforce and HubSpot, sends Slack alerts, and offers an MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft 365 Copilot on paid plans.
04Can I export my data from Stotles?
Contacts can be exported or sent to your CRM, and notices reach Salesforce or HubSpot through the integration. We found no documented bulk export of saved views, pipeline or bid reports. See our Stotles export guide.
05Is Stotles good for defence suppliers?
For suppliers focused on the UK MOD, its UK tender, spend and contact data is useful. For suppliers selling to NATO agencies or other European defence ministries, its coverage is limited.
06Does Stotles use AI?
Yes: a signal score, an “Ask Stotles” assistant, AI bid/no-bid reports from uploaded documents, and AI first drafts built from past bids. Stotles says it does not train or fine-tune models on customer data.
Sources and method
[ HOW THIS WAS WRITTEN ]Defense Explorer wrote this page, and we sell a product in this category, so read it with that in mind. Competitor details come only from each vendor’s public website, help centre, terms and review listings, checked on 15 September 2026, and every claim links to its source below. We have not used every product under a paid contract. Where we could not verify something we say so rather than guess. Prices and features change: confirm on the vendor’s site before you buy.
